Our final WOS Monthly Meeting of the season will be “Member Photo Night,” when favorite and new birding sites and insights are shared. This program illuminates the diverse and entertaining birding experiences of our members and serves as a catalyst for learning about new places and birding opportunities. Thanks to Year Three of COVID-19, this will once again be a “virtual” birding experience for the audience, joining from our respective ‘evening roosting spots.’

Photographer Members, thank you in advance for sharing your skills and talents as storytellers! Please do some birding on your hard drive, and step up to share some of your favorite bird photos: we would love to learn about your encounters and anecdotes!

Guidelines: if you would like to participate –
– send an email by May 29 to Elaine elc@uw.edu with WOS Member Photo Night in the subject line
please include your full name and the location of your photos (just a clue for planning)
– on the evening of June 6, we will take turns via Zoom using “share screen”
– please plan to limit your presentation to 8 minutes (to include show and tell of photos)

Ideally, each presenter will present their own photos and have a microphone and camera. But absent these, don’t let that stop you from participating!
