- 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. – Registration
- 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. – Social hour for all conference attendees. No-host bar.
- 6 p.m. – Heavy appetizer buffet. Yes, this year a light buffet dinner will be available. Sign up for this at registration
- 7 p.m. “Stump the Experts” with Dennis Paulson, assisted by Shep Thorp. Please join us all for this interesting, challenging and fun event! Dennis, a retired University of Puget Sound professor and former director of the Slater Museum, is a fount of information in many areas of natural history, particularly birds and odonates (dragonflies and damselflies). Dr. Shep Thorp is a Master Birder and veterinarian from Tacoma.

- 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. – Social hour for all conference attendees. No-host bar.
- 6 p.m. Dinner. This will be a full dinner, for which sign-ups and entree selections will be taken at registration. Meal choices are described on the Meals page.
- 6:30 p.m. – WOS Annual Business Meeting and Awards. The no host bar and snacks will continue to be available.
- 7 p.m. Keynote Talk: Gerrit Vyn, acclaimed photographer and conservationist, will speak on the Global Life of Shorebirds.
