Our 2018 conference will be hosted by Hood River Inn, a locally-owned hotel that is a member of the Best Western Plus network. It is very conveniently located at the south entry of the Hood River/White Salmon bridge, giving us very easy access to the Washington side of the Columbia Gorge. The hotel overlooks the Columbia River and is along the waterfront trail system, providing easy walking access to the port, marina, and waterfront park.

We have blocked several rooms at a special rate, but we can only hold this block of rooms until May 5th before they are released for general reservations. June is part of the Columbia Gorge’s peak season, and we have been told that area lodging options will likely be extremely limited as we approach the conference dates.

Standard rooms: one queen or king: $139; two queens: $149
Riverview rooms: one queen or king: $169; two queens: $179

You will not be able to access the reserved block of rooms using their online booking system. Please contact the reservations desk to ask for the Washington Ornithological Society room block, (541) 386-2200. (1-800-828-7873). It is highly recommended that you book lodging well in advance

Lodging is not included in the conference registration. Please make your own arrangements for lodging at Best Western Plus Hood River Inn, or elsewhere.
