Our presenter will be Jeff Kozma, TFW (Timber, Fish, and Wildlife) Wildlife Biologist for the Yakama Tribe.

The Gray Flycatcher (with the down-dipping tail) ranges over our Western states and is the subject of one of Jeff Kozma’s research efforts. In this presentation, Jeff will expound upon relatively unknown aspects of the Gray Flycatcher’s breeding biology in Ponderosa Pine forests, with all-you-ever-wanted-to-know on the GRFL’s basic life history, characteristics of nest sites and favored plant species, nest mortality, and the effect of habitat variables on the survival of fledglings.
